According to the S.H.M., a group of Italian tourists are skiing in the area between Black Stone May and May of Lake, where the accident occurred.
The ski-skater had suffered fractures in her leg, unconvincing any movement from the location.
“The KAKMK has conducted the operation with two teams that have conducted operation by the Brezovica ski centre, the first team has reacted immediately by providing first aid and has made the autobilisation of the incident” reportedly in the Service's announcement.
The second team has joined collective equipment to evacuate the accident from the same route.
Being an isolated area and within the territory of the RMV, evacuation is set to take place by helicopter in co-operation with authorities the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
“During the development of the operation, the Kosovo Mountain Peace Research Service has been in co-ordination with: Italy's Embassy in Kosovo, the Italian Agency for Co-operation and Development, AICS Tirana AICS Tirana, Italy's Embassy in Northern Macedonia.
The operation is also supported by the Brezovica Skiing Centre management (AKP)” said in the announcement.
