Here are the main developments, according to CNN:
Oil storage sites targeted: Israel has begun to hit oil storage sites in Iran as part of the next war phase, an Israeli source said. CNN's Tehran team reported that it rained black water after fuel storage sites were hit. Israel's defence forces also said they hit an unprecedented number of Iran's F-14 fighter aircraft.
Gulf States repel attacks: Countries across the Persian Gulf reported a new wave of attacks with fears and rockets. A government building was hit in Kuwait, as well as fuel depots at its international airport. The United Arab Emirates said the air defence is “currently responding to a threat of” rockets.
Trump ignores threats: US President Donald Trump dismissed threats from Iran's top security official, saying “I don't care at all”. Ali Larijan of Iran pledged to retaliate against the president, saying Iran “would not let Trump go” and that he “should pay the price”.
Foreign leaders respond: Qatar's emissary Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani warned in a telephone conversation with Trump that the continued escalation of the war could have dangerous “consequences for the world. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi reiterated Beijing's call for an immediate ceasefire and warned of “the proliferation of war fires”.
