ASK reports gross production from hydropower plants has reached 29,901 GWh, which represents an increase of 67,09 % compared to January last year. The gross electricity available was 894,93 GWh, an increase of 1,10 %s, while electricity consumption reached 695,17 GWh, marking an increase of 4,63 %.
According to an AK communique, the share of alternative electricity in consumption was 10,87 %. Electricity import in January was 508,45 GWh, while export reached 299,19 GWh, including the amount of transmission.
On the other hand, coal production recorded declines of 20,55 %, producing about 617,956 thousand tonnes. Consumers according to sectors show higher growth in industry (22,96 %) and public enlightenment (14,07 %), while several other categories such as consumers 220-110 kV and rats marked decline.
