These comments were made by Rainer Rudolph in an interview for RTK, while saying international friends cannot do the job of Kosovo's own state.
“Message to all political actors, throughout the spectrum, think about what's best for the country, in the sense of your interaction with us, so with your international friends, the international European agenda that needs to be pushed forward. What we can do as friends of this state is take this dynamic that comes from the country itself, which comes from the country itself, we cannot create this, and to have this positive moment, we need stable institutions that represent the country”, German ambassador reported.
On the other hand, he said the Law for Foreigners should be implemented so as not to undermine daily life of citizens and minorities, preserving health and education services.
The German ambassador argued that partnership with Kosovo is strong and dedicated, with the focus on expanding co-operation in the economy, trade, investment, development and preparation of the country for EU membership.
