Rama awaiting responses for co-government in Pristina, new cabinet presented within days

Pristina Chairman Progress Rama has indicated that he is expecting final answers from political parties for co-governance in the capital, while warning that the new cabinet is expected to be introduced within the coming days. Rama stressed that governance in the capital is in line with the past mandate, with some already published changes, while directors are functional and work is continuing normally in all sectors.

I'm saying that we're in the course of the agreements, discussions with all the parties, and as a result we're saying we're continuing, work continues in the capital. All, all directors are in operation, so this isn't a new government, it's a government that's ongoing from the first four years, and we're already making some changes. I mean, some things have the same attitude, some changes are public, you can just see them on the website of Pristina online, where changes only because we made them public. Even we are continuing in this continuation of team creation now for the next four years”, he said.

He made it known that invitations to co-government have been sent to all parties, but according to him, some are pending due to developments at the central level, including election processes and the election of president, reports Online Economy, broadcast Periscope.

I'm working all parties. All of them, actually I've mentioned these in advance, I'm saying we're waiting now for the final. I think there's another maybe a prolongation due to other levels, for example, we have a large number now in 2025. We're continuing to say, even now we have him at the parliamentary level, at the governing level, at the central level, even electing the president. So there are some issues that connect to the local level, which is why I'm saying we have some patience, and we're probably going to have the entire cabinet present in a very short time. So today I'm thinking, until next week, at the end of next week or early next week, we're gonna have the full mirror. For those who are young, for those who remain. But what I want in a check is that all the directors are working on all parts of the capital, so we're going on with the” processes, he said.

Rama added that it aims at a coalition as wide as possible because of major projects awaiting the capital, including preparations for “The Mediterranean Games 2030”, investments in education, sports and urban transport, ensuring that delays in formalising the cabinet have not affected the performance.

And we, I'm saying, have made public request to all parties. Now there are some, some not. Even now I'm saying, some are probably waiting for parliamentary elections, thinking of electing the president. So I didn't want to put pressure on any party because I'm saying it's for the good of the capital when we even have one, an exact formula, we present it to the citizens of the capital. But by then I'm saying we're working, we have a great team in the capital. So all directors have their own directors, we're continuing to work in all parts of the capital. So this has no negative impact why we haven't probably done something new. But my approach has also remained to be a broad coalition at the level of the capital because we have big jobs. We have Mediterranean games in 2030 which I'm already saying we're pushing forward as we are, and major projects that we're also pushing money, the other needs of the capital that are numerous at the level of education, so even with the whole-day teaching systems, of sports I'm saying in the creation of infrastructure in different parts, of the new urban transport that we've already pushed forward, so we have a lot of work that we're pushing hard forward in the face of whether we've made changes to the director or not to”, he said. /Periscope/
