Llugaliu in a post at LinkedIn says the discovery of this case is the direct result of the commitment of the staff as well as of strategic investment in X-Ray scanners, donations from the United States of America, as well as effective co-operation under Integrated Border Management between Customs and Border Police.
His statement:
About 1m euros undeclared have been discovered in the PKK Merdare ʹ, one of the most important shocks to illegal financial movements.
The direct results of our staff's commitment as well as strategic investment in X-Ray scanners, donation from the United States of America, as well as effective co-operation under Integrated Border Management between Customs and Border Police.
By order of the Special Prosecutor, three foreign nationals have been arrested to enable further investigations.
