Voter Misuses Up First Act on December 28th Elections

Foundation Attorney at Ferizaj has filed the first indictment in connection with the December 28th 2025 elections. According to the announcement, the indictment is related to criminal activity “the annihilation of voting documents”, Periscope reports.

The Act has risen against the person with the M.A. initials.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Ferizaj announces the public opinion that he has filed the first indictment in connection with the December 28th 2025 elections, for criminal work “the elimination of voting documents”, seen with Article 217 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code.

According to the indictment, on December 28th 2025, at a polling centre in the town of Shkumen, the defendant with the M.A. initials, has damaged voting documents related to the Kosovo Republic's Parliament elections. With these actions, elements of the criminal work for which the indictment was filed near the Foundation Court in Ferizaj . . The State Prosecutor announces public opinion that all eventual cases involving the December 28th 2025 election process will be addressed with priorities and in full compliance with the law, with the aim of protecting the integrity of the election process and rule of law”, the Foundation Prosecutor's Media communiqué at Ferizaj said.
