Requesting detention for the boy suspected of killing his mother in Restelica

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren has requested from the Constitutional Court in Prizren, the appointment of a 30-day detention measure against suspects F.B., who is in detention for 48 hours because of allegedly killing his mother in the village of Dragasic.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren reports the public opinion that he has requested from the Constitutional Court in Prizren, the appointment of the 30-day detention measure against suspects F.B., which is under ban for 48 hours, due to the suspicion that the same one has committed criminal work “heavy murder” by Article 173 par.1par. 1.3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK).

According to the prosecution's request, the suspect F.B., dated 20,01.2026, in the village of Ristelica-Cunica of Dragas, in his family home where he lived with the victim, deliberately deprives his mother of life, the victim T.B., in a way that originally beats him in different parts of the body and then shakes him to his throat, with his victims being killed by injuries changing lives at the scene. With these actions, the same allegedly committed criminal work “heavy murder” according to the KPRK.
