Prime Minister Rama has published the letter to the American president, in which it also reveals the fact that the Albanian Parliament will have to ratify the agreement to be part of this organisation, which comes as Trump's initiative.
In his Facebook post, Rama writes that soon this document will be forwarded to Albania's Assembly for approval.
In the letter, Rama expresses his appreciation for the American president's commitment and thanks for his personal invitation to be part of the Board, as well as his invitation to Albania to serve as a founding member.
Rama praises the Peace Board as adopting an urgent necessity to address the situation of their conflicts and victims.
For the prime minister, this initiative has the potential to transform into a truly transforming model of peace-building to a global level and embodys the sense that time, clarity of mandate and personal responsibility at the highest level are the very instruments of peace.
So Rama says that he views it as a privilege and an honor to contribute to this important effort and to become fully part of a joint commitment designed to translate vision into action.
