The country is facing serious problems in providing electricity, as a result of the frequent collapse of production blocks in thermal power plants.

On the other hand, today KESCO, I announce that the electromagnetic system is currently operating in difficult winter conditions, saying that opportunities for import security are limited due to technical conditions of the electromagnetic system in which Kosovo operates.

Low temperatures and increased use of electricity for heating have affected widespread consumption. In periods where local production remains low, the need for electricity import increases significantly.
