Encount 1,027 out of 2.557 seats

At the Counting and Results Centre, 1,027 ballot boxes from 2.557 will be recounted overall.

The Central Election Commission has decided on Monday to count once again all votes from regular polling, as during their single-fourth recount, about 57 thousand votes have been misregistered for candidates.

Prior to pointing out problems with voter abuse, The CEC was ahead of January 19th for announcing final results.

The country has been without mandated institutions for a year. Last year's February elections did not result in the formation of the government, and the closure of those on December 28th has exceeded the previous deadlines.

Kosovo does not have an approved budget for 2026, and for a few weeks the president's mandate ends.
