Albanian President Bajram Begaj has asked her counterpart in Moldova, Maya Sandu, that the state she leads to reconsider the recognition of the state of Kosovo.
Begaj made that request during the official visit to this country.
“S together, as partners and as friends, we work for a stronger and safer Europe, as well as encourage review of the recognition of Kosovo”, wrote Begaj after meeting his counterpart in Moldova.
The head of the Albanian state said there were productive talks with Moldova's president and that mutual trust, stable political dialogue and constructive co-operation, in the service of common interest and citizens, are at the foundation of relations between the two countries.
In today's challenging security environment, European Union enlargement remains a key factor for stability and peace. We fully support Moldova's European path”, Begaj wrote./Periscopi/
