A police official has been arrested after allegedly, outside of official private car duty, caused the accident on the Pristina road Mitrovica, where a 53-year-old man died.
According to the report, the L.S. victim was civilian staff in the Kosovo Police, while the police official was assigned the 48-hour detention measure.
“Axident reportedly took place on the National Pristina-Mitrovica road, respectively, in the village of Lazareva, where a police official out of official duty running in private car has caused fatal traffic accident, with the result of the accident unfortunately dead L.S. citizen. (civilized in Kosovo Police)”
Instead of the event, IPK investigators, relevant police units and guardian prosecutor from the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina” have emerged, the report says.
On the other hand, the IPK said that criminal case has been initiated in connection with criminal activity “risking public traffic”.
