Trump and Macro will meet for dinner at Versailles Palace after the G7 summit.

US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron will meet at the Palace of Versailles near Paris during the G7 summit of key industrialized countries in France next week, their governments announced on Saturday.
Trump, who is trying to make progress in finalising an agreement on war with Iran in the coming days, is expected to have a packed face-to-face agenda with foreign leaders on the sidelines of the summit in the French town of Lake Evian-les-Bains, according to senior administration officials who informed officials of anonymity under the basic rules specified by the White House, reports the Associated Press, broadcast Klankosovat.
The republican president is expected to discuss with US allies plans to remove mines from Hormuz Strait, as confidence in an agreement grows, an official said.
Britain and France, both members of the G7, have expressed interest in helping demining the critical waterway after the conflict stops.
