The CEC appears in detail for votes by mail, shows how counted and how much has been cancelled in the verification process.

The CEC through a media communiqué has indicated that Friday evening on June 12th at the Centre for Counting and Results has begun the process of counting the first ballot from voting outside Kosovo, respectively, by postal voting, enabled in 23 CEC post boxes. The results are being updated on the CEC platform for results.
The CEC says envelopes allegedly containing ballot papers, following the evaluation process, have been arranged in ballot boxes according to municipalities where registered voters come from.
“Voted via mail has been enabled from 21 May to 6 June 2026, while the number of Kosovo citizens registered to vote via mail was around 105 thousand.”, the CEC reports.
On the Sabbath day, The CEC has indicated that the process of weighing the supposed package by balloting outside Kosovo has continued in the CNR, respectively, from voting through mail that have so far been brought to Kosovo.
By the end of Friday (12 June 2026) in the evaluation process, over 60 thousand packages, out of which were served 59,973, have already been rejected. 2,244.
The most expressed reason why these packages were rejected is because, in 2,066 cases, a document with unique data is missing, which registered voters accept by the CEC.”, KqZ reports.
