Police: New technology allows automatic identification of counterinference

The new security camera system in Pristina has officially launched the pronunciation of fines for all violators of traffic regulations, where penalty bills are sent directly to citizen post offices.
Police have put in place the new auto-identification system in traffic, when each violation is automatically recorded and stored with data about the location, date and timing to leave verification space, even facilitating police officials. This project, intended to increase traffic safety, is resulting extremely effectively, registering an average of 50 to 100 fines per day.
Thousands of cars circulate every day within the capital without recording. And for these and many others, Kosovo police with the new system will now write fines automatically through cameras that monitor Pristina all the time.
Mentor Muja, commander of the Traffic Unit for the Pristina region, says that with this new system, oppositions will now be automatically identified and that this will greatly facilitate police work.
We're already able to identify the perpetrators automatically. The system is programmed in a way that once the camera identifies an offense it saves anti-insistance video to a particular speaker by holding the location, date and time of video-shaped counteragement, and then once police officials are archived they verify that conversation to see which offenses have been made at that particular time and place. Once additional verification is identified to identify the owner of the car correctly and a fine is made to the owner of the”, Muja said.
He showed what violations are through which they are identified by security cameras in the capital.
“Objections that are detected through security cameras are some like the flow of vehicles without registration, the disrespect of road traffic signs, semi-circumcision, ban, or parking vehicle on the road strip or on the sidewalk, the one-way movement of”, he added.
In cameras that have been active all the time, up until long ago there was a custody officer monitoring violations, but they already do this job, which during the day identify thousands of perpetrators. After they are registered in the system, police officials call on the countertor over the phone to tell them about the fine or mail it to them. / RTK
