Extreme heat causes casualties in Italy and France, alarm in many cities

A 70-year-old truck driver was found lifeless in his car parked on the A4 highway, between Sirionone and Peschiera del Garda, in the province of Brescia. According to initial reconstruction, it was hit by a heart attack and cannot be expelled for high temperatures contributing to the cause of fatal disease.
Extreme heat will follow 3 in the coming days and authorities in Italy have sounded the maximum heat alert for 18 cities.
