The chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Economics (OEK), Lulzim Rafuna on the “Reel Talk with Maxhun”, which is aired in Periscope and T7, has shown that a thousand and 300 businesses in Kosovo make up 60 per cent of Kosovo's economy and are the biggest budget contributors. And going to Free Energy Market is completely unfriendly.

These 1,000 and 300 businesses are employed by 143 thousand workers, which down to 50 percent of employees in the private sector. These 1,000 and 300 companies make up 60 per cent of Kosovo's economy. While the participation of these 1,000 of the 300 companies in the Kosovo Tax Administration budget (ATK) that collect taxes without Kosovo Customs alone in ATK is 50 per cent”.

“Add here to the Kosovo Customs and these are investments in the first half product, but even final products, then goes freely 70 per cent of the total state budget that fills these 1,000 and 300 companies. Because we have the largest companies and they have circulation of over 10 million euros and these are the ones that fill the” budget, Rafuna said.

On May 30th, business protests were held for the first time to oppose the liberalisation of the Free Electricity Market. Several streets of the capital had been closed during this protest, but only one chorus had been open.

Rafuna has shown that one lane had been opened because of “Defender Europe 2025x1> and did not want Kosovo to have bad image.

The “Ide was to have the maunas show that protest and we have had consensus because of theDefender Europe 2025) that is under way in Kosovo. We've been in co-ordination with all the competent local and inter-competitive institutions that didn't cause me any obstacle and don't mis-advise the presence and activity of Detective Europe 2025. Where it is known that NATO soldiers are mostly in the barracks of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) and here it was the idea that we would not stumble but to express a little satisfaction through the mount as civilized and peaceful protester”, he said.

Rafuna has warned that the next protest will be held where they will join the workers this time.

Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti had said that only 1% of businesses suffer from this decision to Pristina.

While we're talking here, the Economic Oda should stay close to businesses, it's organizing roadblocks. To protect 1% of large businesses at the expense of 99% of the other small ones are wanting to set barricades today. They are wanting to make barricades at Pristina's entrances, but the time of barricades in Kosovo has passed. We removed them wherever they were, and we pledged that we would not allow any new ones to be deployed”, Kurti said at the government meeting.

Rafuna this large decipher of Prime Minister Kurti has named it “decent for daily consumption”.

I'm not supposed to let go of the mastermining statement that you use for your daily consumption or for your own purposes. The protest has been clear from Kosovo businesses, it's not 1 per cent”, Rafuna said, among other things.

Asked how much these companies pay for Kosovo's budget?

Kosovo “due to 900 million in the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) that were paid in 2024 , 450 million are coming from them, or 50 percent total are these 1,000 of the 300 companies”, he said.

Rafuna has reminded her that incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti that he receives his salary from business tax.

The prime minister also receives the salary from these businesses because 83 thousand employees in the public sector indirectly receive the tax salary that pays these businesses”, Rafuna said.
