On Wednesday, Thaci, Veselin, Krasniqi and Selimi will have a word of the case. I'll be there on the 16th and 17, because I'd like to hear these four heads of state. These are heroes. These are living heroes, people who made the state and war”, Gucati said.
After the final word, the Judicial Chamber has 90 days to make a decision, but can it be extended further? Gucati has said he hopes the month May will be a holiday for the release of war leaders.
I'm not a lawyer, but I hope on May 20th we will celebrate their arrival. I certainly do, not that I have information, but I feel it. We will celebrate the great victory of the state, gold letters of the KLA”.
Gucati has said that if the KLA leaders are convicted, Thaci, Krasniqi, Selimi and Veselini are not punished, but the state of Kosovo, all the people and the Constitution.
Because we've made this country with a lot of sacrifice and effort. The greatest disaster would happen if this war was condemned. Even the internationals don't believe they'll let war leaders be punished. I'm optimistic, and I don't think they're gonna be punished. I believe in God, and I am very optimistic that we will enjoy our freedom with them”, Gucati said.
