He has stressed that stealing votes among political party candidates has seriously hurt the election process and violated the integrity of the vote.
Of course this has affected us all, because the process is hurting and the integrity of the vote is being violated. Without wanting to take responsibility away, The CEC in this decade has had tides and tides, but is also considered by international observers as a credit institution. The process is injured and I don't say we are completely innocent, because we may not have seen stricter measures, but this process ultimately falls under the responsibility of political parties. There shouldn't have been people willing to manipulate the vote”, Gashi said.
According to him, two concrete measures would help avoid future manipulations: reading real-time ballotation and electronic identification of voters.
I have come up with two measures that should be implemented, because the integrity of the vote is not cost. Identification of voters electronically, to remove these colors in the nails, and to read real-time balloting. These would have to happen, and there should be no compromises. That's the only way to restore credibility”, Gashi said.
