How did Kurti become your favorite business enemy? Shahini: Local producers have lost state support

Kosovo Business Alliance Chairman Agim Sahin in an interview for Periscope, as he spoke of the concern raised that the Kosovo Government in co-operation with the Central Bank has blocked loans for businesses, has expressed, among other things, even surprised how VVCE's approach to these businesses has changed from [...]
Asked how Kurti came from your love became your biggest business enemy, Sahin says that “today local producers have lost support from the state”.
“We're wondering what's changed and why you're changing. We as the UN have had missions from 2003 that really want local production, support it, consume local production by becoming part of economic development.
We've done hundreds of thousands of miles, whether inside or outside Kosovo, to raise civic awareness, consumer support for the local economy. This is what political parties, including Vetevendosje, have accomplished. Our mission received and promoted the mission that “Seek your own”. And, we've been supportive of any initiative, whatever to support local production. Other parties have supported our joint initiatives because they have been economically coloured and will remain such.
Today, local producers have lost support from the state. Our support remains the same, but when the state doesn't support you it's ours a little smaller. Now if it doesn't support even commercial banks, local producers will be in a situation to lose its production power, and Kosovo will be one of the most powerful countries and consumers in the Western Balkans for foreign products”Said Sahin for Periscope.
