Some of the leaders of EU and Western Balkan member states are expected to arrive in Tirana the day ahead, where they will hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama. Among them is British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who, according to the announcement of “10 Downing Street”, will arrive Thursday and is expected to announce new measures for fighting illegal immigration and human trafficking criminal networks.
Organizing and Location
The arrival of delegations will take place before the National Museum in Tirana, to be later directed towards the Opera building, where they will be welcomed by Prime Minister Rama. After the official ceremony, leaders will be moved to special facilities built near Skenderbeu Monument in Skanderbe Square, where the main part of the summit will be held.
