Student protests continue in Serbia, key institutions blocked in several cities

Students and citizens' protests in Serbia continue this week, with blocks before key institutions in several cities. Protesters have placed an additional fence in front of the one previously set by “Parking service” to ensure safe access to employees.
Meanwhile, in Nis, the blockade of the Rectorate building has entered on the sixth day, though initially it was scheduled to last only three days. Students are disappointed by the lack of progress in negotiations with the Rector and deans. They claim they had received a promise to sign a platform, but it hasn't happened yet. Communication, they believe, continues to take place only over the phone, while today none of the staff are present at work.
Students have also begun the physical impasse of the Faculty of Theology, thus expanding the area of protest in support of their political and civic demands.
