The first direct peace talks between Russia and Ukraine after more than three years lasted less than two hours, and there were no signs of progress.

Ukrainian source has told the news agency that Russia's demands were “cut off from reality and went well beyond what was previously discussed”. These included “unacceptable and non- constructive constitutions”.
