Kosovo police member Dulot Brahimi has reacted after Serbian authorities issued a warrant for his arrest over an incident with seniors the previous day in northern Kosovo.
Through a Facebook post, he said that today, more than ever, he feels determined to continue with integrity, devotion, and honor. To work with all my heart for a straight, transparent, and always close to citizens”, he wrote.
On the other hand, Brahim expressed deep pride and gratitude for all the support he has received from citizens.
Dear colleagues, friends, and all those who supported me,
I stand before you today with a deep sense of gratitude and pride. It's a feeling that stems from the extraordinary support I've received during my trip to the State Police service. Every word of encouragement, every hand that's been extended to me, every trust I've been given has left a lasting impression on my commitment to this task, Brahim said.
The policeman stressed that work in this institution is not just a profession.
It's a call. A responsibility we bear with honor and determination, in defense of the order, security and dignity of our citizens. But this road is never easy. There are big challenges, many sacrifices, and moments that test even the strongest among us”.
Therefore, the support I have received from you my colleagues, my family, my friends, and the community has been an inexhaustible force that has pushed me forward. You've given me the motivation to be better every day, you've reminded me why this job matters so much”, he stressed.
