This is confirmed on 13 May for Radio Free Europe from Poland Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, broadcasts Periscope.
The procedure has been initiated because of a serious “review of Bosnia and Herzegovina's integrity, which is known as subject to international law”, the Embassy's announcement said.
Embassy explained the initiative was undertaken by Poland's Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, and that a detailed argument for the decision will be published after the completion of the procedure and entry into force of the ban.
Power in Republika Srpska, led by Dodik, has begun adopting a series of unconstitutional decisions and laws, for which the Bosnia and Herzegovina Prosecutor has opened investigations into the leadership of this entity and issued arrest warrants against them.
Dodik, along with Nenad Stevha persecution and Radovan Viskoviq, the chairman of the Parliament and the prime minister of Republika Srpska, respectively, are suspected of attacking constitutional order.
An arrest warrant was issued in March, after failing to respond to the call to appear in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Prosecutor for questioning.
On February 26th, the Court sentenced Dodik to a year in prison, as well as prevented him from exercising the post of Republika Srpska president for a six-year period, due to disrespect for the international high representative's decisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Because of actions that pose a threat to Bosnia's constitutional order, Germany and Austria imposed a ban on Dodik, Stevhaykis and Radovan Viskoviq in April.
Dodik, together with family members and key political associates, is now on the list of sanctions in the United States, while sanctions against him have also been imposed by the United Kingdom.
