As it becomes known, the North Macedonian government plans to stimulate young couples to live in the village through financial support amounting to 100 thousand euros in aid being provided through a new agriculture and rural development law.
But the condition is clear: beneficiaries have to farm for the next 10 years, writes Euronews.
The bill, which is currently under public scrutiny, predicts that this amount was shared by young couples until the age of 40, who decide to build a future in the village through investments in agriculture.
The law also envisions support for young people who want to start a new business in the village in this case, and can also benefit up to 100,000 euros.
