According to Macron, it, along with other European leaders and US President Donald Trump, has proposed an unconditional 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, expected to begin Monday.
“A ceasefire is needed now so that the talks can begin”, Macron said, adding that the Ukrainian president has agreed with this initiative and now expect a clear response from Russia as well.
