According to the LDK, any delay in institution building is harmful to the interest of citizens and seriously violates the country's institutional constitutional order.
As they reiterated that the LDK's proposal for a whole transitional government, for resolving the crisis, is more appropriate and serves the country's interest.

Today, Democratic League of Kosovo chairman Lumir Abdixhiku attended the meeting, called by the president of the Republic of Kosovo, in trying to find solutions to emerge from the country's three-month political and institutional crisis. No place, no functional government; no direction; and therefore no answer to the citizens' concerns.
The Democratic League of Kosovo considers it political, moral and constitutional duty to clearly present the vision and political stance for overcoming the current crisis.
The crisis is the result of the first party's inability to create the parliamentary majority, the election of the chairman and the constitution's institution.
Any attempt to function institutions without such a majority is but an attempt to arbitrarily impose party political desire on political reality. From here on, stubborn insistence and consciously repeating the failed process of choosing the chairman of the Parliament for the sixteenth time gives no choice.
The Democratic League of Kosovo estimates the status quo cannot continue until indefinitely. Any delay in institution building, every day with a government in office operating beyond constitutional competencies, until serious criminal offences, is damaging to citizens' interest and seriously violating the country's constitutional institutional order.
With the goal of resolving the crisis, the Democratic League of Kosovo has given the proposal for the establishment of a sweeping government with clearly defined mandates and obligations. The LDK's leadership estimates that the LDK's proposal to resolve the crisis is the most appropriate and serves the country's interest.
The Democratic League of Kosovo will continue to be responsible, acting prudently in terms of crisis resolution.
