Kosovo prices again on the rise, Kafja, Tea, and Chaka are significantly expensive

The price hikes in Kosovo are continuing to directly hit the citizens' budget. According to the latest report by the Kosovo Statistics Agency, the harmonised consumer price index rose by 3% in April 2025, compared to the same month last year, while compared to March 2025, one [...] was marked.
Coffee, tea, and cocoa are among the most experienced products, which now cost an average of 16% more than a year ago.
The list of expensive products includes fruit, vegetables, oils, and fats, meat, electricity, basic dairy (milk, cheese, eggs), personal auto services, hotel services, and alcoholic beverages.
The price hikes have especially been felt in sectors affecting the everydayity of households, significantly exacerbating purchasing power.
In March, inflation was 0.8% on a monthly level and 2.9% on an annual level, while in January it was 0.7% monthly and 1.5% annual.
What stands out is the fact that the average price rate in the past two months has reached its highest point in the past 20 years, according to the AKS./Periscopi/
