Today begins “Defender Europe 2025”, commiting 25 thousand soldiers from 29 countries.

Kosovo will be the host of the largest international exercise, led by the United States Army for Europe and Africa “Defeder Europe 2025x1>.

This exercise is held from May 26th to June 9th, where 29 states with 250,000 soldiers engaged will be participating.

On Friday, the Defence Ministry came out with an announcement of this organisation.

It becomes known that during this period of time there will be movements of convoys from the Kosovo Security Force locations in the direction of the Gjakova region, namely, the Gjakova Airport and the military range in Boka's Father.

This movement will be realised in order to execute the international exercise “Defender Europe 25”, so we seek the understanding of citizens during the development of”.

The Kosovo Security Force through the execution of this exercise will show operational readiness and the degree of combat interoperability with partner countries and the region, including the United States of America, Albania, Croatia, Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria”, was said in the statement.

Kosovo in 2023 was excluded from “Defender Europe 2023” as the mass of the United States of America after tensions in the country's north. /Periscopi/
