The Constitutional Court in Pristina has approved the Constitutional Prosecutor's request in Pristina and has appointed home arrest measures to defendants Kadrije Aslan and Q.M.B. in lengths of one month each. The court's announcement reportedly that the judge of the preliminary procedure, after the hearing, estimated that legal conditions for the appointment [...] have been met.
The court's announcement reportedly that the judge of the preliminary procedure, following the hearing, praised the legal conditions for the appointment of house arrest measures against defendants Kadrije Aslan and Q.M. B, since there is suspicion based that the same ones have committed a criminal offence, follows Periscope.
The K.A. and the Q.M.B. defendants. They are obliged to stay in their homes, in which they live, and in no way without the court's permission they dare not leave their home, as well as forced by Kosovo police to verify the implementation of this measure and, in case of its disrespect, inform the judge of the preliminary procedure, in this criminal case. Conform Article 181 paragraph 5 of the KKPPRK, the court can set the most serious measure of detention if the defendants do not respect the measure pronounced in this act”, the statement said.
Among other things, the Foundation added that the court found there is doubt that if the defendants were in freedom, they would prevent the normal course of criminal procedure by eliminating, hiding, or influencing witnesses and other material evidence, thus preventing the normal course of criminal procedure, it was decided on the measure of house arrest.
And I also appreciate that the house arrest measure was assigned to me because of the weight of criminal acts, the way and the circumstances in which it was suspected of criminal acts, given that in concrete cases we have to do money embezzlement, which was entrusted to them by the Pristina Community, to subvention the children who meet the legal criteria for subsidy and take into account the amount of damage allegedly caused by the budget, over 51 thousand euros, and that the defendants allegedly took action together, by sending the lists to Pristina and by sending them to the Commission, the court considers that there is a legal charge, over 51 thousand euros, and that the two indictees have allegedly been issued.
I did. tv reported the case in question and included is the director of this garden, Kadriye Aslan. The same is suspected of misusing 100,000 euros.
As I learned yesterday, from exclusive sources, the money was paid to the parents of the children, and it put them in the subvention of the municipality.
Kosovo police, namely the Regional Unit for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, have conducted investigations concerning allegations of misuse of public funds at a pre-school institution in Pristina.
Evidence has been provided during the investigation that shows the drafting of the child subsidies that have not attended the institution, causing considerable financial damage.
Doubts also include withdrawing money irregularly and buying electronic devices without justification of institutional needs.
