Business protests blocking Pristina's entry have ended in protest of liberalising the energy market.
Thursday morning, they began blocking entry into Pristina in Veternik, on the flag circuit, to Dukagini Centre on the road to Fushe-Kosovo, on the road to Mitrovica, as well as on the road from Podujevo, in the neighborhood of Vranjevci.
The lock lasted as warned, between 10:00 and 12: 00 p.m.
The Energy Regulatory Office decision (ZRRE) for energy market liberalisation will take effect on 1 June. The decision implies that all major businesses will no longer be supplied with energy through regulated tariffs, but must find their own supplier on the free market. If they fail to do so, they automatically go to the open market at unregulated prices.
