British Prime Minister Visits Tirana Today, Signing of Agreement Expected

The prime minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, is due today for an official visit to Tirana, where Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will be expected. The high-level visit comes at an important moment for relations between the two countries and is expected to peak with the signing of a “Agreement for strategic partnership” between Albania [...]
The meeting between the two leaders will be followed by a joint media conference at 12:40. While in Albania, Starmer will also visit the Museum of Armed Forces and the Centre of Innovation, Security and Protection two key points of co-operation in the field of defence and security.
The agreement, expected to be signed today, is seen as a further step in strengthening strategic relations between the two countries, following the road leading from the Sunak '%Rama meeting to 10 Downing Street in March 2023.
