Great Britain suspends trade talks with Israel and calls the ambassador because of the <x0-> wild blockade” of aid.
Addressing MPs, British Foreign Minister David Lami says the <x0 threat of hunger lies above hundreds of thousands of civilians” in Gaza, which he calls the disgusting “”.
He says the 11-week blockade that prohibits the achievement of humanitarian aid in Gaza is non-negotiable and wild <x0). “They are isolating Israel from its friends and partners worldwide, undermining the interests of the Israeli people and damaging the image of the state of Israel in the eyes of the world”, he added.
Lami says Great Britain is suspending negotiations with the Israeli government for a new free trade agreement and has called Israeli Ambassador to London Tzipi Hotovly to the foreign ministry.

He says the Minister for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer, will tell Hotovly that “the 11-week aid blockade for Gaza has been wild and unattended”.
“Bota is judging. History will judge them. Blocking aid, expanding the world, ignoring the concerns of your friends and partners. This is unacceptable and should stop”, he adds.
Lami continues “I now tell the people of Israel, we want a strong friendship with you based on common values and with flourishing ties between people and our societies. We are steadfast in our commitment to your security and to your future, to counter the very real threat from Iran, the scourge of terrorism and the evil of antisemitism”.
But the development of war in Gaza is damaging our relations with your government. And as the prime minister has said, if Israel follows this military offensive after threatening that it will not provide unhindered assistance delivery, we will take further action in response to”, he concluded.
Otherwise, no food, fuel or medicine had been allowed in Gaza since March 2nd, a situation that the UN previously described as a catastrophic “catastrophic impact” for the Palestinian population. /Periscopi/
