“Beware of deviant currents” - BIK appears in response to the arrest of Hysri Selim who spyed on Serbian BIA

The Islamic Community of Kosovo has announced that in today's speeches through mosques in Kosovo, a message concerning recent developments has been conveyed following the arrest of a person who was reported to be Hysri Selimi, who was judged by Kosovo justice for the work of terrorism and that he had been part of the organisation I SIS.

For this case, BIK, quoting media and institutions, said he allegedly co-operated with Serbia's security services in order to misuse Islam as an excuse for spreading harmful currents among our youth, to infect their minds by damaging our pure Islamic religion, the image of our nation and the state of Kosovo”.

In this message, it has called for believers not to fall prey to the diverted currents and said Islam supports the state, security and opposes treason.

To betray a person is one of the great sins in Islam, let alone betray the nation, the state and religion itself, using it as an excuse to serve the enemy”.

We're calling on all of you, especially our youth, to be more careful and not to fall into the snares of remote currents, which aim to deceive you in the name of religion. Don't let anyone use God's name for hostile and dark purposes”, says BIK's call.

The Islamic Community has also called for citizens who only from the Islamic Community of Kosovo and its authorised imams, to mosques on the sides of Kosovo and do not follow anonymous individuals or platforms who claim to share Islamic knowledge while serving the agenda against the state of Kosovo.

BIK's full message in today's lecture:

In light of recent developments and the arrest of a person suspected of spying and hostile activity and spreading extreme religious ideologies in Kosovo, for the benefit and for the interests of Serbia, we feel compelled to react clearly and responsibly.

This case, as reported by media and relevant security institutions, concerns a person who allegedly collaborated with Serbia's security services, in order to misuse Islam as the pretext for spreading harmful currents among our youth, to infect their minds by damaging our pure Islamic religion, the image of our nation and the state of Kosovo.

In fact, that person, in the name of religion, for the interests of Serbia, had also gone to Syria in a war that we, from the beginning, have made clear that it has nothing to do with Islam, but has been used for different agendas, against our religion and our nation.

Faithful brothers!

Islam is the religion of peace, mercy, and respect for order and justice. Islam supports the state, security and is against treason. Betraying a person is one of the great sins in Islam, and let alone betray the nation, the state and religion themselves, using it as an excuse to serve the enemy.

In this context, we welcome the action of our security institutions and express strong opposition to any form of efforts to instrumentalise religion for political, propagandistic or spying purposes. These actions are an attack on the state, society, and the greatest attack on pure Islamic religion itself

Dear believers,

We call on all of you, especially our youth, to be more careful and not to fall into the snares of the destructive destructive currents. Do not let anyone use God's name for hostile and dark purposes.

We invite you to:

• To receive religious teachings only from the Islamic Community of Kosovo and from its authorized imams, on the sides of Kosovo, which are God's house, and who can never be replaced by different chins or locals, behind which no one is known who stands;

• Not to follow individuals or anonymous platforms who claim to distribute Islamic knowledge, but who may basically be the means of propaganda of foreign circles that are against our nation, state and religion;

• Be aware that circles working against our faith, against the state of Kosovo, and against our religious and national co-existence can be erased behind these efforts.

Remember, love of the homeland is part of the faith, and support for the State is a religious and civic duty.

As devoted believers, we have been and must remain part of the protection of peace, unity, and national identity. We stand side by side with our institutions in every attempt to protect our country from foreign influences and to build a righteous, secure, and enlightened society in the light of true Islamic knowledge.

Let us be united, attentive, and consistent. Let us not allow anyone to misuse religion and extremism to divide us, manipulate us, or turn us against one another.

Wherever you hear radical and extremist attitudes, regardless of their nature, you need to know that circles behind them can be concealed that do not want good for Kosovo, for our religion, for our nation, and for the sake of division, the violation of coexistence as the value of our nation.

It is our duty to be alert and alert, to preserve the State and religion, not to succumb to various provocations, and to report questions.
