Lame has been the top head of the Albanian state as deputy minister or director of the Cadastra and Legalisation Agency.
His rare passion was history and is listed as one of the country's best collectors.
The separation from life at an early age is a major loss for Albanian family and society.
Biography
Artan Lame was born in Tirana in 1967, originally from the village of Qytese in Colombia.
He was Albanian publicist, opinionist and collector. Albanian history researcher, civil society activist for the protection of Albanian cultural heritage. Also, the Socialist Party's political activist and state official.
State Functions:
1999-2000: Director of Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture.
2000-2002: Deputy Mayor of Tirana.
2002-2005: Deputy Minister of Territory and Tourism.
2013-2019: Director General of A LUIZNI (The Agency of Legalisation, Urbanisation and Integration of Informal Areas).
2019-2023: Director General of A The U.S. State Agency.
