Ambassador Antonini: Italy backs Kosovo's EU, NATO integration

The Italian Embassy in Pristina has hosted expectations for senior personalities in Kosovo tonight, on the occasion of the Italian national holiday.
Italy's new ambassador, Maurizio Antonini, said the Day of the Republic of Italy is a symbol of national unity and democracy.
He prior to the audience said Italy supports Kosovo's Euro-integration path to the European Union, citing the importance of EU enlargement in the Balkans as a key strategy for political stability and security of the entire continent.
An occasion at the ceremony also held President Vjosa Osmani praising Italy's support of Kosovo as a steadfast friend in the most difficult times, as well as during the country's journey towards integration into the European Union
Part of Italy's national holiday were also accredited ambassadors in Pristina and party leaders, but not even incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti. /Periscope/
