Former AKI Chief Inspector Shkelzen Soopyan has raised the alarm for continued efforts by non-friendly states towards Kosovo, which through their intelligence services are trying to undermine the image of the Republic of Kosovo.
The non-friendly states work each day with people on the ground for undermining Kosovo's image. Two of the main license plates are religious extremism and the stain of the KLA's war,”, Sopijan said on the “Debat Plus” show.
According to him, the goal of these actions is for Kosovo to be presented as a country against democratic values and divided from within, including inciting religious divisions since the end of the war.
However, he stresses that AKI is being successful and at the top of the task, collecting information even from outside Kosovo territory, though it does not operate physically abroad.
Any extremism is dangerous. Religious extremism in principle is against constitutional order,” concluded Soopyan. /Periscope.
