Vetevendosje Movement deputy Halil Thaci has indicated what is expected tomorrow in the Kosovo Assembly.
“In as Vetevendosje Movement we are ready to unlock the processes by moving forward. Same as we should vote the vice-presidents proposed by opposition subjects. We consider that even opposition subjects should vote the mayor we already proposed. The opposition is actually playing a game of rage. Just as he did for verifying mandate”, he said.
He has further clarified that the VV candidate for Kosovo Parliament Speaker is Albulen Haxhiu, and has invited the opposition to vote on the proposed candidate.
“Yes, of course Albulen will be a candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament. Even former Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca deputy chairman of the Vetevendosje (VV) Movement has called on the opposition to vote on our candidate because it is up to us as a majority to propose the name for head of the Assembly. And we call on them to vote because it's time for us to vote on the vice presidents they propose. So, the opposition is continuing with a game of resentment that is also leading to blocking processes to create institutions of the Republic of Kosovo”, Thaci said further.
On Saturday (1905.2025), MPs did not give the green light to VV candidate Albulen Haxhiu to lead the Parliament.
In two cases Hadziu had received 57 votes not enough to take over the legislature.
Opposition parties oppose Albulen Hadziu's proposal. The Democratic Party of Kosovo(PDK), the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), do not support the VV proposal. /Periscopi/
