It will be his second trip abroad since his return to office, following his planned participation in the Vatican for the funeral of Pope Francescu on Saturday, Telegrafi conveys.
Trump “will travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates from May 13th to May 16,”, Leavitt said at a press conference at the White House, without detail.
Saudi Arabia's top diplomat held talks in Washington earlier this month to lay the groundwork for a visit to Trump.
Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman pledged in January that he would collect $185x1> 600 billion in American trade and investment.
Tuesday's announcement comes as the White House is attending nuclear talks with Iran, while threatening military action if they fail to reach an agreement.
In 2018, Trump withdrew the United States from a landmark nuclear agreement signed three years ago that eased sanctions on Iran in exchange for curbing his nuclear programme.
Trump earlier Tuesday said he had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that they were “united“on issues involving trade and Iran. /Periscope/
