So far there is no sign of protest. At a nearby trading complex, I saw some people in a red MAGA hat. Most locals just seemed curious about the massive presence of police and journalists at “the travelling”, writes BBC, broadcast Periscope.
So far, we haven't heard from the president or the White House about the protests.
The only update I had from the White House today was to inform us that Trump won the second round of his match in a championship for seniors in the golf course. He'll play the championship round tomorrow. However, it seems to be paying attention to news about tariffs.
This morning, an AP photographer expelled from the press pool caught an image of him traveling in the golf course with a number of New York Post in hand, open to an article about China.
