Five times failed, VV deputy: We have the numbers for selecting the head parliament.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Halil Thaci has spoken about the numbers for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament, saying LVV has numbers.

Thaci said the issue of the Speaker of the Parliament is not just a political subject, but the entire political spectrum.

We actually have numbers, but the issue of the Speaker of the Parliament is not a political subject. It belongs to the entire political spectrum”, Thaci said, for RTV21.

Regarding the opposition's request to change the LVVV candidate for chairman of the Parliament, he has said it is not up to one subject to seek another candidate.

He says that even if the candidate was changed tomorrow, according to him, the opposition would not vote the other candidate after Haxhi.

“We certainly have decided and LVV's leadership has decided that the candidate will be Albulen Haxhiu. It is not up to another subject to seek another candidate. This is just one reason not to vote and block the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, nothing more. I don't think tomorrow we can change the candidate. If they keep blocking institutions I don't think they're gonna vote on the other candidate we can propose. There are no other candidates, but we didn't enter these” games, he said.

He said the opposition is blocking the Parliament by failing to vote on the Speaker of the Parliament, and, according to him, they are not accepting the election outcome.
