“Do everything you can to turn the country into a path of success, with each of us being supported by terror and injustice, and to enable citizens to be proud of Serbia”, has written Alexander Vuciqi on Facebook.
Serbia's government has been on a technical mandate since March 19th, when the MPs in the Parliament approved Vuchevic's resignation from the prime minister's post, with what's been under way for 30 days for the election of the new executive. Vuchevic had resigned a month and a half earlier, following the beating of a group of students by Serbian Progressive Party activists who were blocking the faculty work in Novi Sad.
The collapse of the government of Serbia, led by Milos Vuchevic, occurred at the peak of anti-government protests led by students. Protestor students since late November 2024 have been blocking dozens of faculties throughout Serbia. /Periscope
