Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani has confirmed to the media that the operation directly relates to investigations into the murder of Sergeant Muhamed Lika, who was executed a few weeks ago in the centre of Kacanik.
IndexOnline With sources reports that among seven persons arrested is a former police officer and a former Kosovo Security Force fighter (FSK) who allegedly joined an extremist organised group, the transmission Periscope.
Furthermore, one of the key persons arrested is Rayhan BellaAn 18-year-old man allegedly the chief execution of Sergeant Lika, according to the investigation. At the moment of the crime, Rayhan Bela was only 17 years old, but the allegations are that the murder may have been carried out deliberately and as part of the planning of this dangerous group.
Following the arrest, all suspects have been sent to the police station, where they are expected to be interviewed by the prosecutor of the case, who will decide on further measures.
