So said the Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Yll Buleskaj, in an interview for “KosovoPress”.
“We have about 10,000 and 700 public officials who have been obliged to perform the obligation. Of them only 141 did not complete within the deadline. First we had a list of about 300, when the list was cleared, we came to the list of 141 officials. We have already submitted requests to the institutions for their salaries, and we are in the process of examining fines for these public officials. I believe that within the next week, we will also publish the list of all these officials who have not observed the law, because we have a legal obligation for the public to know who these officials are who did not perform the vow.
This publication, but even the pronunciation of fines, does not prevent the prosecution process if these officials have not declared property after the additional deadline... For any of those who fail to perform the vow within a deadline, except for those who have any circumstances that are unable to carry out this duty objectively, it may be a disease, or any other reason that hinders it, all of these will be sent into the form of criminal records.”, he said. /Periscope.
