The US geology service also recorded three earthquakes in Istanbul, one with 6.2, one 4.5 and another 5.0. The focus of the biggest earthquake was on the Marmara Sea.

Their website has just gone out of function because of a high demand, Telegrafi reports Periscope.
Istanbul authorities are warning citizens not to enter buildings that could be damaged after earthquakes.
They advise people not to drive or use their phones unless absolutely necessary.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya says disaster management and emergency management teams have begun to assess the impact of earthquakes.
