Kosovo Police, namely the Border Police Department, has announced that it has banned a van with smuggled cosmetics worth over 13 thousand and 600 euros.
According to police, the Anti-Smuggle Customs and ATK inspectors have discovered that the shipment had been declared as children's toys, but after raids it has been found to be cosmetics smuggled, broadcast Periscope.
After the ban by Kosovo Police, and a detailed search of a van in the Kosovo Customs Anti-Contrade Unit and ATK inspectors discovered that the declared toy for children was cosmetics smuggled, worth 13.616. Investigations are continuing in co-operation with the competent police station and ATK”, the report said.
In another case, border police in the village of Novoselle have banned two vehicles where two thousand and 475kg of smuggled berries have been seized without records of origin.
The case has been initiated for the Customs Conversion, and seized goods have been handed over for assessment and proceedings by Kosovo Customs”, said the report.
