The PDK also writes that it recognises the VV's right to propose the candidate, but that does not imply support for that candidacy.

Remember, the head of the session, Avni Dehari, has interrupted today's session after the second failure of Albulen Hadziu's chief parliamentary election, which her party proposed for the post, writes Periscopi.

The Kosovo Assembly has failed to elect the new chairman even today. Even after two attempts, the candidacy proposed by the Vetevendosje Movement, Albulen Haxhiu, has failed to secure the necessary number of votes to be elected chief parliament.

In both rounds of voting, Haxhiu received 57 votes, failing to reach the 61-vote quota required to get the post.
