Misetic says the SPS has asked to transfer some materials from Thaci's case for justice management to him for war crimes.

“The ZPS demands that you get some material that is part of the 12th case on this subject today. So on case 06. Z The SP argues that there are three materials that are relevant to the 06 issue, arguing that they constitute critical factors related to the sentence in this matter, and second they claim to inform the credibility of SPS witnesses in the matter and third, they claim to demonstrate among themselves how much of crimes claims belong to those known in the indictment”, he said.

Thaci's defence, said they have the right to submit a request in the spa and also seek appropriate legal means, given that new issues have emerged and even the SPS's response dealing with the transfer of evidence to the 12th issue.

The ZPS motion, according to Thaci's defence, raised several issues that violate some of Thaci's fundamental rights as being the one for fair legal process. And what is the right to discrimination itself, putting protection in a unfavourable position.

The defence mentioned a principle of the TSF not to condemn Thaci twice on similar issues.

Likewise, Misetic mentioned the principle of fair judgment, where he was asked to be treated and urging the SPS to be prevented from establishing criminal cases by Thaci on two different court cases for similar behaviour.

Of the accused, Jakup Krasniqi was in the courtroom present through the video connection after receiving appropriate permission. Through the video connection were Krasniqi's lawyer, Venkateswari Alagedra, and also Selim's Geoffrey Roberts.

Meanwhile, on April 15th 2025, the prosecution has announced that it has completed presenting evidence in the case.

The Specialised Prosecutor's Office, on September 30th 2022, has handed over the confirmed amended indictment against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, which consists of ten points on charges, where the latter are charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.

On April 29th 2022, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office had handed over a amended indictment to Hashim Thaci, Kadri Wessel, Rexhepi and Jakup Krasniqi, where four indictees have committed war crimes even in Gjilan, Budakov and Semtish.

On November 9th 2020, in their first appearances, Hashim Thaci's Jakup Krasniqi has been declared innocent of the charges placed on them. Wessel has also been declared in his presentation on November 10th, as has Rexhep Selimi on November 11th.

The incident against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi is confirmed on October 26, 2020.
